My guildmate helped me with all my thk missions. He's a mm and they own this missions easy.. I did absolutely nothing when we got to the fortress. The minions tank the jade better than most pugs I've joined.

i must have been lucky or something i did thunderhead first try i think we had a group like- 2 tanks, nuker, mm, heal monk, heal/prot monk, and 2 trappers. the trappers owned, they put traps all up the steps around us and a lot of the monsters died b4 they got to us

Well, I had tried twice with my Ranger, and about 7 times with my Warrior before I deleted them. Never comleting this mission.

Now I'm upto it with my Monk, which would be ok.. if I was a good Monk..

I tried with Henches but the Ranger boss (Jade Bow type) doesn't seem to die. So more and more mantle/mursaat were building up next to me and I eventually died.

Although you seem to get around 1k each time you attempt the mission

My guide to successfull Thunderhead Keep mission (henchman of course)
I did this with few different characters.
Necro: Spiteful Spirit.
Warrior: Axe + Ranger as secondary with apply poison.
Monk: Mhenio + Lina, if you're good no one will ever die.
Ranger: Apply Poison/Poison Arrow + interrupts.

Depending what bosses you get. If you get Perfecter armor he is easy, no self heals

Healer boss is the most annoying, very hard to kill, but with poison or ss + interrupts he will fall fast.
Try to kill bosses after you clean everything, even when healer boss is there (taking him down first takes too long and other monsters will eventually kill you).
And for god sake dont join bad groups, once you get to defend the king everyone has to attack the same target. That's where henchies come in

Why don't you use the book method?

Have the warrior hold the torch while with the king, with a healer concentrated on him as he takes all the fire. It worked for me and the person I learned it from knew the mission really well.

The ironic thing was, we used the henchmen healer duo and still got through. How do you like them apples?
